Cole and Adrian and I are performing for whoever else is in this class, and I can’t see them. What do I do with that? Who do I tell? I just have so many questions about the other people who are taking this class - are they hearing the word? I just feel like, suddenly, J. what happens when I, as a Black person, am in an environment where I don’t want to hear that word?
